I spent an hour or so by the lake. Read a little and took a few pics of this bug crawling on my hat. I was waiting for Marta to finish cleaning. Can’t remember anything else interesting from that day.

Ivanka’s birthday. I went to visit her in the evening. I spent all day siting at my computer, downloading MASH, and doing nothing else.
This is a photo of her homegrown tomatoes. I like this one. it’s really sharp with a nice colour. I just snapped a few pics for her & family to look at.

I was coming back home from my presentation and last class of summer. (It went fine) I spent almost 2 hrs trying to get home!! The traffic was insane!
I got to snap this with my cell. The cars were moving and I did not have access to my good camera (I also had an 85mm lens on it). It was a lovely scene. You can almost see is in this picture.

Missed day!

It was awful! I was working on my presentation all day long! In the evening I went to meet with 2 other students to work on our collective theme & connect our topics. It was a difficult day. I stayed up very late to finish the damn thing.
Somehow I missed my chance to take a photo. Usually I’ll just take a shot of my desk with my cellphone but I don’t even have that to show. I believe it’s the very first time I don’t even have a crappy shot to show.

I was visiting on this Monday. It was a long weekend. And it was a nice one. Very sunny and warm. We got to swim a lot. This is the only time I had my D300 with me. I was in the water trying to balance myself while holding a camera dangerously close to water. I did not get any pictures that justified the danger to my DSLR.
Anyway, it was a nice day. I was supposed to be working on a presentation in the evening but did not.

I spent whole day in the pool at Ivanka’s. I also got a chance to crawl around with my macro lens and take pics of mushrooms, flowers, bees, etc. I like this photo the best. This mushroom looked really cute.

I completely forgot about this series from Toynami. Couple of weeks ago I finally ordered the toys. Now I got Amy and Cloberella. Now I’m just waiting for series 7 to make the crew of Planet Express complete.
