Wow! This was a fantastic news for me. Two of my pics made Explore!! I never knew that till today when I found fd’s Flickr Toys and checked my account. I always wondered why those pics had so many views, but I did not realize that they were on Explore. I believed that Flickr notifies people but I was wrong. This unexpected discovery has given me a lot of hope. There is a chance that some of my better photos will make it to Explore one day.
Since I am very critical of my own work it is nice to get a little praise once in a while. Even though these 2 photos are not technically brilliant or interestingly composed, they are nice nonetheless. I am looking forward to more possible appreciation from Flickr users. They helped me to believe that my photographic skills are progressing rather than standing still.
